G’DAY WORLD #283 – Porn Filters, Australian Values and other nonsense

Richard, Ian and Garth joined me last night to discuss porn filters, Australian values, strip clubs and other rubbish. If you think you can sense heavy editing in this show… you are right. I won’t say why.

    1. Interesting show. Enjoyed it and if I had Twitter running on Sun arvo I may have joined in and said very little.

Porn filters are a waste of tax payers money. Maybe the gvt thinks it’s their job to “protect” the children but what about adults who have rights to watch what they want. Sex education should be left us to parents and not the govt..I mean look at the guys running the country, would you trust them to teach sex education to anyone.

Not sure I totally agree with Cam about showing porn to kids at least not before teen yrs where by then most have a good idea what it is all about. It is a lot diff than when I was growing up 25 yrs ago, a lot easier to access, not just online, and more widely available.

kevin Rudd I think made more friends than lost them over the strip club incident. Unlike Cam I have never voted liberal and last few years voted indpendant though to be honest I really haven’t cared too much as they are all corrupt as each other.

I saw that Australian standards things on the news on Sun night and the only question of the 3 they showed that I knew was the year of Federation. I agree that since I left high school I have never had to know that and I left in 1984. The mateship, history and all the rest in just a total wank. I bet if you gave that Aussie values questionaire to all Aussies 75% wold need to be deported as being un-Australian.
