I just finished reading Tim Weiner’s book “Legacy Of Ashes: The History Of the CIA” and thought I should talk more about it. I think this is one of the most important books that have come out in the last decade. Why? Listen to the show to find out. I start by reading out a list of countries that the CIA has committed acts of terrorism and violence in, either directly or indirectly, over the last 60 years. It’s a long, long list.
Please buy and read the book.

I am glad (a) the book made it to Brisbane (b) you like it
I gave you a massive plug in the show mate. Thanks again for the book! A brilliant read. Were you as blown away by it as I was?
Hello Cameron Relly,
here from Denmark I have trying to find my way to put a comment about your excellent Napoleon podcast.
So now I try to send a comment from this page.
I am more than half way on my listening of all the 41 chapters….(-:
I listen to them trough the mp3-player in my mobile phone. Whether it is cabled to my stereo player at home, alone from the phone or whether I am biking to work, shopping, working at home etc.
Excellent podcast by the way!!
And have now bought a copy of “Napoleon for Dummies”(-:
Keep up the good work together with David Markham!
I have already paid a subcribtion to The Biography Show. too(-:
The latest concept seems to me to be a good time saving alternative. One show about historical persons/events most do not know about is more realistic – I think.
Well, I hope to keep listening to more good shows (the french revolution maybe? Or just other themes from the non western world?)
PS: I found the napoleon podcast, by accident, in iTunes Store.
