We hope you all have a great xmas and get all of the presents that you emailed Santa for…may your beer never run out and your barbeques always run hot…
G’day…from Mick and Cam
“Aussie Jingle Bells”
Dashing through the bush, in a rusty Holden Ute,
Kicking up the dust, esky in the boot,
Kelpie by my side, singing Christmas songs,
It’s Summer time and I am in my singlet, shorts and thongs
Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way,
Christmas in Australia on a scorching summers day, Hey!
Jingle bells, jingle bells, Christmas time is beaut !,
Oh what fun it is to ride in a rusty Holden Ute.
Engine’s getting hot; we dodge the kangaroos,
The swaggie climbs aboard, he is welcome too.
All the family’s there, sitting by the pool,
Christmas Day the Aussie way, by the barbecue.
Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way,
Christmas in Australia on a scorching summers day, Hey!
Jingle bells, jingle bells, Christmas time is beaut!,
Oh what fun it is to ride in a rusty Holden Ute.
Come the afternoon, Grandpa has a doze,
The kids and Uncle Bruce, are swimming in their clothes.
The time comes ’round to go, we take the family snap,
Pack the car and all shoot through, before the washing up.
Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way,
Christmas in Australia on a scorching summers day, Hey!
Jingle bells, jingle bells, Christmas time is beaut!,
Oh what fun it is to ride in a rusty Holden ute

PS. Oh yeah….spread some xmas cheer our way, and go and vote for us over at Podcast Alley 😉

Unbelievably, out of the 500+ people who have downloaded the latest G’day World podcast, only THREE (that’s right, 3) have entered the competition to win the free double passes to see “The Motorcycle Diaries” kindly provided by our friends at Dendy Films. So… if you’d like to be among the first people to see this film, listen to the podcast (to get the rules of engagement) and enter today! It isn’t too late. When all the tickets are gone, I will announce it here.
Even MORE unbelievable, only 5 of those 500 have voted for us at Podcast Alley!

Finally…we need to dress it up a little, but the G’day World website is now open in a format close to what we wanted…
We will be adding to it over the next couple of days with all the bits that a good blog/website should have, but if anyone has any tips to getting enclosure tags to work properly with the WordPress blogging software, feel free to leave a comment here and i will get back to you.
Don’t worry…the current RSS 2.0 Podcast feed has enclosures in it, but they are currently coded by hand…by me…grrr… You can also subscribe to a feed just of the blog portion without the media enclosure (attached audio files) if you are interested in it as well.
Anyway, we hope you are enjoying the G’day World podcast and look forward to hearing your comments.
