On today’s show I chat with Hugo Kelly, Aussie political and business journalist, who recently left Aussie site Crikey amidst some very public sturm-und-drang. Not many people in this country can genuinely claim experience in both OLD and NEW media, but Hugo is one of those. We talk about his experiences in both new media and old media, his thoughts about the future of both, Jeff Kennett and Jeffed.com, Crikey, and some of my crazy and naive political ideas.

Dude, I am sitting here listening to this and talk of Jeff and wondering if you have approached Jeff or Beyond Blue about your thoughts on have a mental health/depression podcast. I would have thought doing a similar thing with Jeff as you do with Fr Bob but for Depression/Mental health would be excellent.

I did approach Beyond Blue last year and spoke to their PR person, who was going to set me up a time to chat with the CEO but the never came back to me and I didn’t follow up. But havent you heard? Jeff’s getting back into politics. 🙂
