On today’s show I chat with Hugo Kelly, Aussie political and business journalist, who recently left Aussie site Crikey amidst some very public sturm-und-drang. Not many people in this country can genuinely claim experience in both OLD and NEW media, but Hugo is one of those. We talk about his experiences in both new media and old media, his thoughts about the future of both, Jeff Kennett and Jeffed.com, Crikey, and some of my crazy and naive political ideas.
You can read more about Hugo here, here (in his own Wikipedia article no less), here and here. For the record, I found him to be a top bloke, smart, articulate, and passionate, about politics, about the media, and about his Mum. Nothing wrong with any of that.

Now… as I haven’t heard from ANYONE who lives in SPAIN, we’re moving on to CHINA. If you live in China, and you listen to this show, let me know and we’ll get you on as a guest! Tell us about where you live! About Google, Yahoo and MSN selling your free speech away for a few shekels. And give me a reason to take a tax-deductible visit to your country!

And email us a scanned postcard so we can put it up in our Flickr group!
Don’t forget about the new TPN promotional flyer. Get the flyer from here. And please print out thousands!

I’ll give away some TPN schwag to the best photo of the TPN flyer in a crazy place each month.

As always, our Intro / Outro music “D24″ courtesy of Melbourne band Spruiker.

And if you dig the show, pull your goddamn finger out and help us by voting for G’DAY WORLD on Podcast Alley.
