I’ve had a couple of people complain that they want to go back and download all of the shows in a TPN feed, like, for example, Claybourne, but that the older shows don’t appear in iTunes. I’m not sure if this is an iTunes bug, a WordPress bug or something that is broken with our feed. Anyone know? If so, please jump to the forum.

“When I invented the Web…..”
Isn’t that the best frakkin opening line to a blog post EVAH? Come on. If you can come up with a better opening blog post, I’ll put $5 into your paypal account.
TimBL talks about why NN is good, as you would expect, but he closes with this statement:
I hope that Congress can protect net neutrality, so I can continue to innovate in the internet space.
Did I miss something? Didn’t Congress vote against it? Aren’t we now relying on the Senate to save the net? US politics confuses the hell outta me. And I thought watching West Wing was going to make it all crystal. Ah, if only I had Leo here to help me grok the whole situation…

Ever have one of those days when you suspect you should have stayed in bed?
It started off as a busy day. Lots of important meetings to have, lots of important work to do. A full day.
Then one of my kids broke his wrist at school and I spent the next four hours getting it x-rayed and set in plaster.
Then I slipped on the top stair and slid down the entire flight on my back and I’m bruised to all hell.
So I’ve got a broken foot, devil red right eye, bruised back, and a 5 year old in a sling.
Is this day over yet? Â

I don’t know what it is yet, but I know I want one.
How do I know?
Because Richard Giles and Graeme Sutherland, two TPN hosts, are behind it. They are both very smart, experienced guys. So if they think it’s cool and important, I’m sure it will be.

Eric Skiff from The Alternative Music Show sent me an email alerting me to this:
I just wanted to give you a heads up that there’s a movement brewing to encourage people to "boycott" mainstream media on the 4th of july and tune into podcasts, vlogs, blogs, etc. instead. The idea got bounced around on the New England Podcasters list quite a bit and I posted about it on my blog today.
http://www.glitchnyc.com and http://alternativemusic.thepodcastnetwork.com
There’s been quite a few comments and reactions in the few short hours it’s been up so I think this idea may really catch hold. It’d be great to have lots of TPN podcasts participating!
I’ve created a promo for the event – I’d really appreciate if you featured it in your shows, and be sure to tag your july 4th shows july4us .
Sounds like fun. I tend to watch or listen to pretty much zero MSM anyway these days, but this will be a chance for more people to wean themselves off their mainstream media dummy. You can do it! Think for yourself! Participate in the media, don’t be a victim!
