On today’s show I chat with Hugo Kelly, Aussie political and business journalist, who recently left Aussie site Crikey amidst some very public sturm-und-drang. Not many people in this country can genuinely claim experience in both OLD and NEW media, but Hugo is one of those. We talk about his experiences in both new media and old media, his thoughts about the future of both, Jeff Kennett and Jeffed.com, Crikey, and some of my crazy and naive political ideas.
You can read more about Hugo here, here (in his own Wikipedia article no less), here and here. For the record, I found him to be a top bloke, smart, articulate, and passionate, about politics, about the media, and about his Mum. Nothing wrong with any of that.
