For the last year I’ve been trying to popularise making a latte with steamed pure cream instead of milk. I call it “The Cameroni”.
It started because I’m on a low carb diet and cream has nearly half the carbs of milk. When I tried to find a coffee by this description, I discovered it doesn’t really exist. I’ve spoken to many, many baristas about it and I’ve only had a couple that had made one before or even heard of it. It doesn’t have a name, so, of course, I coined one.
So if I come into your cafe and ask for a cameroni, you now know what to make.
