From Simplicity Comes Life-Like Complexity

I’ve been fascinated with cellular automata since reading “New Kind Of Science” by Stephen Wolfram about ten years ago (wow… where did that decade go???). These days I have a couple of Conway’s Game Of Life apps on my iPad. The video below is a great example of how life-like complexity can arise out of a few simple rules.
