I recently ordered a custom laptop skin from Tekskin. Check them out. Great service from these guys. They emailed me a few times to let me know that my image dimensions weren’t quite right and stuck with me until I got them a good image. And then the final skin is a nice heavy vinyl (I think). Looks and feels great. And their prices are very reasonable ($30 for a single skin plus shipping).

  1. Hey Cameron, that is really cool, I love it… I just bought my new Vista desktop on the weekend – $2200 with everything including 22″ monitor… I get it next week, can’t wait.

  2. So how do we even buy a T-Shirt anyway? I can’t see a link to the “store” from the main page…

  3. Sorry Cam… White Tees just don’t do it for geeks. It’s gotta be black! You’d probably see a bunch of G’Day World Tees if they were black or dark blue.

  4. $2200 and they stuck you with Vista? Wow! You coulda got XP and an OS that actually works for less…

  5. Hey, enough with the bagging of my purchase 🙂 I am very happy with the spec’s at least (it’s very specc’d up and retail would go for around $4300)… I will try out the OS next week… I’m actually getting a new Vista PC at work too so get to set up both from scratch at the same time.

    Herne, I agree, T-Shirts should be black…

Cam, that Cafe Press store is a great Idea, but would be good if you had an Australian store too…

  6. foghorn.com.au is a close match, but they don’t seem to have a customised store feature available (it’s all design and make your own, not design and sell), and they don’t allow graphic uploads either. Somehow, 3eep (www.3eep.com) got their logo onto the site’s symbol library though…
