Thank Science! I finally found out how to stop Vista opening links in IE instead of Firefox! This has been bugging the hell out of me since I started using Vista months ago. I found the answers on this site. The secret formula is:
Start button > Control Panel > Programs > Default Programs > Set program access and computer defaults
Cam, coming home from footy and I think as scoble did after leaving microsoft and even hardened no bullshit takers like mr riley it could be time to jump onto osx. Hecks use parallels and when u need to test something jump onto windows its just too far below par. Altho the mac does try and get me to use safari its pretty easy to change!
Geez Cam, that’s been the way to do it since XP SP1! Or did the sparkling Vista UI dazzle you too much 😛
Alternatively,in Firefox, go to Tools -> Options -> Main tab, then under the System Defaults group, click Check Now then confirm the message and you’re done. Nothing new either.
Where were you months ago when I was blogging about this Sam!!!
