One of the things I noticed while reading the B and T Digital Media magazine is that out of the top 40 list, I seem to be the only person who actually MAKES digital media. The rest of the list seem to be from agencies, managers at large media companies, etc.
I think Melbourne’s Online Digital Media community needs to get together for a drink and so, Mr Speaker, I would like to propose a new meetup event: MODM.
Yeah, I’m feeling sociable this week. Don’t get used to it.

Gettting used to you Cam is like getting a reliable snow forecast.
Colin and I will come to the midnight screening. I can celebrate the start of my easter break 🙂
I’ll try to get there Cam.
Yarraville? What kinda location is that.
I’ll pencil it in, but it’s unlikely so late and so far away.
‘so far away’?? We’re 5 minutes from the CBD. About 5 train stations. Weak. Get out. See some of Melbourne’s nicer locations. I’ll buy you a beer. 🙂
The so late bit does make it a bit hard. Trains stop at 1am. The only reason I can go is I convinced Colin that he should come with me. I don’t drive.
Is it likely that there will be enough people at the midnight screening to warrant booking? Also, does seat allocation happen on booking, on picking up of tickets or not at all because if it happens when you book then the tickets would have to be booked together.
Whether or not I go to the MODM thingy will depend on my stress levels at the time. That’s getting pretty close to the end of semester.
Cam, it’s a work night and you’ve got it starting at 8pm. I’ve got an hour trip home from the CBD. Can’t you start any earlier?
Hey Cam, that’s Anzac Day, why not have it the night before, and then everyone has a day off afterwards?
