Today’s show is all about CANNABILISM.
Sorry about the terrible audio and video quality. Lots of technical glitches. I’m still experimenting. I’ll work it out. Anyone know a good Windows tool for batch converting an .avi into .flv and H264?
There’s won’t be a DV edition on 28 August as I’ll be interstate at the PANPA conference. But I’ll shoot some stuff up there and use it on the 29th!
Hi Cam
Check out Super C (http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html)
Good free tool to transcode and batch transcode from/to many formats (I use it to get Google Videos into ipod friendly files…). Not the easiest user interface and sometimes a bit flakey but I can live with that for free software..
On the commercial software side, Sorenson Squeeze 4 (http://www.sorensonmedia.com/) will do the same thing..
Dude, you (much like my good self) have a great face for Audio Podcasting!
😉
Molly
Ian, you are da MAN. Super C is a very nice tool! I’ve used it a bunch of times today and it’s almost perfect. The only thing that could make it better is a batch encode function, but hey, for free, I’m not complaining. Thanks for the tip!
